Mathieu Poggi est diplômé de STAPS à l’université Paris 12 et professeur de judo. Parallèlement à cette carrière sportive, il assiste à la naissance de Frenchnerd, participant à de nombreux projets de l’équipe. C’est tout naturellement que ses amis lui proposent de rejoindre le casting de la série Le Visiteur du Futur. Insufflant toute son énergie dans chacune de ses apparitions, Mattéo devient très vite un personnage récurrent de la série, à la fois drôle et touchant.
