Born 1973, Maya Sondhi is a British television actress and screenwriter of Indian origin. She was born in Birmingham, England. Whilst studying for her A-levels, she became interested in acting, attending the Midlands Arts Centre and then spending three weeks with the National Youth Theatre before going on to study at LAMDA.
