Genemans went to the St. Maartenscollege in Voorburg and then to the Youth Theater School Rabarber in The Hague. After graduating from high school, he spent six months at the School of Journalism in Utrecht. In addition to his education, he worked as an editorial assistant at Visible TV, where he helped on the RTL 4 program Vliegende Hollanders. In 2003 he contributed to the production of the television series Meiden van De Wit. Genemans starred in ZOOP on Nickelodeon and the accompanying films Zoop in Africa, Zoop in India and Zoop in South America. In Zoop Genemans sang the songs "Let me live" and "Verliefd". In addition, Genemans often sang at festivals. Between 2012 and 2016 Genemans mainly produces programs for RTL 5 such as I've never done it and From Russia with Love with his production company No Pictures Please, but also for RTL 7 such as Voetbalfans . In addition, Genemans presented the 5 extreme program for RTL 5. In 2015, the Genemans-produced program Fans! back at RTL 5 under the name Superfans: My idol is my life. As of October 1, 2015, No Pictures Please has become part of FremantleMedia[3]. Since 2020, Genemans has resigned from his role as Managing Director at No Pictures Please and will start working as Creative Lead at FremantleMedia[4]. Genemans has been a presenter and program maker at RTL Nederland since 2017. Genemans presents different programs for both RTL 4 and RTL 5. Since 2019, Genemans has been presenting the Addicted! and in 2021 he definitively succeeded Peter van der Vorst at the program as a presenter[5].
