
Antonio Muñoz de Mesa (born April 22, 1972 in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish writer-director-editor and actor. His feature film Santa Zeta (2025), which he wrote, directed and edited, won Best International Feature at the South African Independent Film Festival (SAIFF). The film was an official selection of the 36th Semana de Cine Fantástico y de Terror de San Sebastián (Donostia) and screened at Fancine – Fantastic Film Festival of Málaga (El Fantástico Iberoamericano). He is also known for Piel fina (2024), Amigos de Jesús (2007) and El diskette (2001).

A group of urbanites flee the city for different reasons: existential, economic crisis, need for fresh air, search for peace, inspiration to compose ...
