Born in Rotherham, Sheffield, Rob was brought up with entertainment in his blood- his father, John, was a comedian and his mother, Elizabeth, was a dancer. He moved to Southport at ten years old and continued to learn his craft. At eighteen, Rob trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff, and upon finishing his training moved to London where he resides.
