Kate Kendall (27 July 1973) is a British-born Australian actress, producer and director. She is best known for her long running roles as Angie Piper in Stingers (1998-2004) and Lauren Turner in Neighbours (2013-2022). Kendall was born in England and moved to Australia with her family when she was six months old, where she was raised in Adelaide, South Australia. She studied at the Centre for Performing Arts (CPA) (now the Adelaide College of the Arts) in Adelaide. There she was taught by her father, David Kendall, who then headed the acting course. As Kendall was wrapping up the role of Lauren in 2017, Kendall began directing small scenes. She has since directed numerous episodes of the series. In June 2020, it was announced that Kendall would become a producer. She covered for series producer Natalie Lynch, while she was on maternity leave.
