Jeremy Allen White is an American actor. He played Phillip "Lip" Gallagher in the comedy-drama series Shameless (2011–2021) and chef Carmen "Carmy" Berzatto in the comedy-drama series The Bear (2022–present). For the latter, he received a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. White has also appeared in the thriller series Homecoming (2018) and films such as Afterschool (2008), Bad Turn Worse (2013), After Everything (2018), The Rental (2020), Fremont (2023), and The Iron Claw (2023).
