Aliyah Royale was born on March 4, 2000, in Maryland, USA. As the daughter of an officer, she grew up on various air force bases and gained stage experience in musical theater performances as a teenager. From 2012, at the age of twelve, she appeared in several short films. She had her first major breakthrough in 2019 in the CBS miniseries The Red Line, in which she played the lead role of Jira Calder-Brennan. The drama deals with the social consequences of a police shooting incident and brought her widespread attention. Since 2020, Aliyah Royale has played the character Iris Bennett in the AMC series The Walking Dead: World Beyond. In all 20 episodes, Iris, along with her sister Hope (Alexa Mansour) and two friends, accompanies the search for her missing father in a post-apocalyptic world.
