Lisa Hogan was born in Dublin to former model Arlene Underwood and husband Maurice Hogan. In the early 1990s, acting veteran John Cleese employed her as a researcher, enabling her to get her first step on the acting ladder. Her first role was in the 1997 comedy film Fierce Creatures.
